Our family LOVES Danielle! She started working with Bruno, our one and a half-year old, 68-pound Pit Bull Terrier after he had been in a local Rescue for 6 months. Thanks to Danielle’s positive methods of training, Bruno became an adoptable dog. He is a beautiful dog, but it was his easy going manner and obedience that made us adopt that day. Bruno continues to train with Danielle, lights up when he sees her, and it’s like they are synchronized on remote control. One five week training class is packed full of information, for you to be able to continue training your dog at home.

My husband and I are so thankful to have found Danielle, and her dog training classes for our 9 month old goldendoodle, Jake. As a new dog owner, it can be frustrating to learn how to effectively communicate with your puppy. But we were able to achieve this communication barrier through Danielle’s classes, which were fun, and covered material that I would have never even thought of. Everywhere we go now, we get compliments on our dog’s obedient, well mannered behavior. Due to Danielle’s positive and humane training, we have developed a strong bond with our dog. Through the class exercises, Jake has learned to walk on a loose leash, leave things alone that are not his, stay put when he’s told to, come when called off leash, and too many others to list. Jake also constantly makes eye contact when he is on walks, or playing at the park, to remain attentive to us. When Jake wants something, rather than jumping and barking, he simply sits or lies down, and always offers good behavior. We can’t be thankful enough for the great relationship and behavior we have developed with Jake thanks to these classes.

Danielle is an amazing trainer! We had been struggling with our dog’s aggression issues and had already worked with several trainers and behaviorists—without results. By the end of the first session with Danielle, she was able to actually handle him and began teaching us how to modify his behavior. This was quite an accomplishment, because up to this point, our dog had been virtually unapproachable by strangers. Although he can be a big scary boy at 150 lbs, Danielle was never intimidated by him and handled him beautifully. Her methods are all positive, and based on the latest science regarding dog behavior. Our family loved working with her. She did an awesome job of giving us the guidance and training tools to help us manage our challenging pet!

Danielle must have been a furball in a previous life. Her understanding and compassion with my cats was incredible. Right away my felines sensed Danielle was a “cat person” and relaxed in her presence. Bringing home a 7-month-old kitten to my 11-year-old cat Honey created a great deal of tension and stress—to say the least. Danielle showed me proper introduction methods and techniques to encourage tolerance and prevent skirmishes between them. Her lessons have made this difficult transition much smoother for all of us. Thank you, Danielle!

Thanks to Danielle, we’re now able to have undisturbed family dinners again! Maggie, our very large (and fast) six-month-old Weimaraner, used to grab food off the dinner table and counters. Now she sits nicely in one place as we eat together as a family. She also no longer jumps on people as they come through the front door. She sits patently waiting for our guests to get through the door and when given the “ok” command greets guests calmly. Maggie also used to chase our cat on a regular basis—after we worked with her on the “leave it” command the cat walks freely through the house without being chased. With Danielle’s guidance, we have order in the house again. We highly recommend Danielle and her positive training techniques.

I was so happy when I found Danielle’s Puppy Pre-School and Manners Class. We learned so much and had fun doing it. Danielle does a fantastic job balancing learning with playing. She kept everyone engaged and we were never bored. Every class ended with a helpful handout and Danielle made herself available to us outside class, too, for trouble-shooting and questions. I look forward to her Pet Therapy and Beast On A Leash classes. I highly recommend Danielle and her classes!

I am so grateful to know Danielle Basciano. We adopted a puppy, Higgins, from a local shelter and his puppyhood was great. Then came the dreaded teenage months. Higgins began showing signs of fear. He was getting big and hard to handle and was suddenly nervous of everyone, including our vet. He didn’t even want to enter the vet’s office and, at 80 pounds, was very difficult to persuade. After a few weeks of following Danielle’s advice to desensitize Higgins, he began to make progress. Now, months later, he walks right in the door at the vet’s and sits nicely in the waiting area. He even goes straight to the scale. We still have work to do, but he has improved in leaps and bounds. It’s been amazing to see my shy puppy blossom into a dog much more willing to try new things, even if he’s still cautious. He has become our daughter’s best friend—and even our vet says what a great job we’ve done with him. Higgins turned into a great dog, thanks to Danielle!
